J-R3MI is a rapper/songwriter from the southwest side of Chicago. He is inspired by his life experiences, good and bad, and by those who have had similar experiences but have found a way to be successful, despite all obstacles. For J-R3MI, this includes a strained nuclear family dynamic, due to alcoholism, drug abuse, and domestic violence. Despite this, however, his family remains supportive of him and his work, and he also reflects this in his music. He is an underdog at heart, on the neverending path of finding and improving himself in every way he can.
